Senior Finance Officer
Location – Colombo
Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) seeks to recruit for the position of Senior Finance Officer, who will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the finance operations of the organisation. This includes ensuring timely and accurate financial updates and adherence to established procedures. The Senior Finance Officer will be accountable for compliance requirements, institutional and grant audits, controls and processes, providing finance-related inputs on all processes to staff, financial due diligence in grant-making and management, developing institutional and donor budgets and maintaining the Management Information System (MIS).
Women and people from minority, vulnerable and/or marginalised communities and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply for the position. The candidate with prior experience of working in not-for-profit organisations will be given preference. This posting is open only for applicants based in Sri Lanka.

In 2020, Women’s Fund Asia Limited (WFAL) was registered as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee in Australia with registration under the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission. WFAL is a subsidiary of WFA, and its operations are controlled by WFA. WFA is the sole member of the Company. The Executive Director of WFA serves as its Executive head, with the responsibility of making it fully operational in a way to serve the mandate of WFA.
