Legal Fellowship Programme
Positioned within the Access to Justice portfolio, the Legal Fellowship Programme (LFP) is aimed at promoting feminist lawyering in the region and enhancing the capacity of early and mid-career women, trans and intersex lawyers to advocate based on human rights principles. The goal is to establish a robust network of feminist lawyers in the region by empowering district-level lawyers at primary courts.
This is a restricted call for applications, limited to those invited to apply and referred to WFA by advisors, partners, former legal fellows, and allied and peer funds/donors. Women, trans, and intersex lawyers working at the district or primary courts from the 18 Asian locations (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal, the Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam) are eligible to apply.
