Our ANNUAL REPORTS detail our journey each year, including our learning and reflections through changing contexts and continue to anchor our growth, success, and renewal.

Annual Report 2023-24

In Ways the Water Flows is WFA’s 2023-24 Annual Report which reflects our growth and expansion as a global South feminist fund in Asia. Like estuaries that flow into the great seas and converge with other bodies of water, we celebrate our journey and look forward to continuing our work in supporting and empowering feminist movements across Asia. This report is a testament to our collective resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to gender equality and justice. We embrace the myriad ways water flows: rapid surges of progress, gentle ripples of change, meandering through complex socio-political terrains, pouring forth with resources and support, and drifting through planning and reflection. As we navigate the waters ahead, we remain dedicated to nurturing the vibrant and diverse ecosystems of feminist activism, ensuring that every ripple, stream, and surge contributes to a tidal wave of change.

Annual Report 2022-23

This year marked transitions, growth and anchoring; building on the successes, reflections and learnings towards a more solid and collective direction and commitment in mobilising resources for feminist power, solidarity and movement-building in the Asia region. A year of navigating the challenging contexts in the region and rising with the ever-changing tide by showing up for feminist movements through a more accessible and flexible funding mechanism and providing and nurturing spaces for connection, collective resistance, care and joy.

Annual Report 2021 – 2022

In this context of a harsh operating environment, WFA continued to embrace and complete a process of change, regrowth, and renewal. The period from 2021- 2022, a year of transitions, saw a profound exercise of institutional strengthening come to fruition, to better meet the challenges of the day.

Annual Report 2020 – 2021

For WFA, much like the rest of the world, 2020 - 2021 was a constantly adaptive journey of resilience in the face of all odds.

Annual Report 2019 – 2020

Kaagapay Fund to Support Feminist Resilience in the face of COVID-19 | An Advocacy Brief

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed – and continues to change – political landscapes and, in turn, the focus and priorities of feminist movements in known and unknown ways. The crises resulting from the pandemic continue to have significant and disproportionate impacts on women-, girls-, trans-, and intersex-led groups and the communities they serve, exacerbating existing structural and power inequalities within Asian societies.

The Legal Fellowship  – A Shared Journey to Justice

WFA is happy to share with you our latest publication “A Shared Journey to Justice– The Legal Fellowship”, a report highlighting the impact and outcomes of the Legal Fellowship program.
