Legal Fellowship Programme

Positioned within the Access to Justice thematic portfolio, the Legal Fellowship Programme (LFP) is aimed to strengthen rights-based advocacy in the region by enhancing the capacity of early and mid-career women, trans and intersex lawyers to advance legal work grounded in human rights principles. The goal is to establish a robust network of women’s rights lawyers in the region by empowering district-level lawyers at primary courts.
